This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from BizCore Suite, including WhatsApp conversation data. This right is granted by Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022).
1. How to Request Deletion
Email privacy@bizcore.id from the address registered on your account, with the subject Data Deletion Request, including your full name and company name. We only act on requests sent from a registered address, because that is the proof of account ownership we hold. If you no longer control that mailbox, reach us through the contact page and we will ask for other proof of identity.
2. WhatsApp Data
If you have exchanged messages with BizCore's official WhatsApp number, we store those conversations for service and support. To have them removed, send a message containing DELETE DATA to that same WhatsApp number, or email privacy@bizcore.id quoting your phone number. Technical delivery records expire on their own within 30 days.
3. What Gets Deleted
Deletion covers: your profile (name, email, phone number, photo), preferences and settings, activity and access logs, internal chat and WhatsApp conversations, files you uploaded, and notifications addressed to you.
4. What We Must Keep
Some data cannot be deleted because the law requires it or because it belongs to someone else's records. That includes accounting and tax documents (invoices, journals, withholding slips) that Indonesian tax rules require us to retain, and transactions that form part of your employer's records. In those documents your identity is anonymised rather than the document being destroyed.
5. How Long It Takes
We acknowledge a request within 3 working days. Personal data is removed from live systems within 30 calendar days, and disappears from backups within 90 days, because backups are rotated as whole snapshots rather than edited in place. You receive an email once deletion is complete.
6. Accounts Managed by an Employer
If your account was created by the company you work for, that company is the data controller and BizCore acts as processor. We will forward your request to that company's administrator and tell you we have done so. Business data belonging to the company (orders, transactions, work documents) remains theirs even after your account is deleted.
